The Hotel's formal Dining Room is available for weddings and other celebrations from 8 to 80 people. With advance reservations our special 7 course Scottish Dinner at £33.50 can be arranged for parties of 8 or more.

Connel is an ideal place to stay being only 5 miles from Oban where you can sail to Mull, Iona and Fingal's Cave. If you leave early and return late you could even pay a day visit to Inverness, Isle of Skye or Campbeltown. It will only take approximately 1 hour to drive to Ben Nevis (highest mountain in Britain), Glencoe and Inveraray. Nearer still are many interesting attractions such as the Oban Rare Breeds Farm Park, Oban Distillery and Cruachan Dam and Power Station and many beautiful gardens. All sports are well catered for and there are 2 interesting golf courses 7 miles from the Hotel.
